Runyu (Cathy) Zhang


Runyu (Cathy) Zhang is a Postdoc Fellow for Engineering Excellence in the Laboratory for Information and Decision Systems (LIDS) and the Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering (CEE) at MIT. Before joining MIT, she completed her PhD (2019 - 2025) in the School of Engineering and Applied Sciences, Harvard University. During the summer of 2022, she served as a research intern at Salesforce Research, working on multi-agent reinforcement learning. Prior to pursuing her Ph.D., she earned a B.S. degree in Mathematics from Peking University in 2019. Her research interests lie in reinforcement learning, control, game theory and optimization, with particular focus on multi-agent systems.
