Dejan Milojevic


Dejan Milojevic is a Ph.D. candidate in Robotics, affiliated with both the Institute for Dynamic Systems and Control at ETH Zurich and the Chemical Energy Carriers and Vehicle Systems Laboratory at Empa. He received his BSc. and MSc. in Mechanical Engineering from ETH Zurich. Dejan has conducted research at Stanford University under the supervision of Marco Pavone and has professional experience as a software engineer at Vay in Berlin, Germany. His research focuses on the co-design of embodied intelligence systems, with a particular interest in sensor selection and placement. In the broader context of mobile robots, he explores perception, decision-making, and control. Dejan is also keen on advancing uncertainty estimation and explainable AI within machine learning.

In the context of his collaboration with Zardini Lab, Dejan is working on the co-design of perception and planning for autonomous vehicles.
